It's cold and rainy here in East Tennessee today. The clouds are hovering pretty low and it looks like it could snow at any moment. I drove home last night from North Carolina through a lot of rain and fog. It was one of those nights where the windshield wipers never stopped. They "wiped" a rhythm that kept me awake in the middle of the night.

Many would say that days like today are good days for curling up in front of the fireplace with a hot cup of chocolate or coffee, wrapping up in a blanket and reading a good book. But here's what I think! I think it's a good day to book a cruise! Just think about it--April 24-28 we will be aboard the SS Sovereign of the  Seas-Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, on a cruise to the Bahamas Islands. Four nights and 5 days at sea with some great gospel music. THE TRIO will be singing, along with quite a few other people. Anthony Burger and Shane Dunlap will be joining me on this trip and we will have a great week of fellowship and fun and music. Have you ever been on a cruise? If you haven't, let me tell you it's a trip of lifetime. We board the ship on Monday. Every night there will be singing in a ball room that will be designated for our group of people. Daytime activities include all kinds of tours around the islands, eating, shopping. . . . You will eat the best food, all week long, many times a day. . . . hear some great singing.. . . . and have the trip of a life time. There is no vacation like a cruise.

The price is $649.00 a person for an ocean view room. (double occupancy) For an inside cabin, the price is $599.00 (double occupancy) These prices include everything except tips.

So plan on meeting us April 24th in Cape Canaveral FL , and let's go sailing. For those of you that might be considering going on this trip, and wondering about travel arrangements, the nearest airport is Orlando. There is a shuttle that runs from the airport to the Port at Cape Canaveral. Dot has the info on the shuttle here at the office if you are in need of that service. If you are interested in going on this trip, call the office immediately 865-933-2100. There are only a few rooms left so if you are going, you need to call almost immediately to get your deposit in.

DON'T FORGET THE CHRISTMAS PARTY on Dec 17th here at the office. It's gonna be a great night of fun. Be sure and bring a wrapped (I suggest wrapped in gift bag) gift per person. No telling what someone will go home with! And also bring things to decorate a snowman. And don't forget your camera! Because the building of the snowmen gets really really wild! If you are coming, please call Dot at the office and tell her, because we need a head count as soon as possible.
