Hello Krew,

First of all, let me say a special welcome to a lot of new Kirk's Krew members who have joined in the last week. Since the airing of LIFE TODAY, with James and Betty Robinson and myself,        I have been covered in mountains of emails. So far, over 1000, just from that TV show. Many of those people went to my website and posted comments, and hundreds of people joined the Krew in the past few days, probably not knowing what they have actually done. So let me explain a few little things.

The Kirk's Krew newsletter is basically an account of my travels. I report concerts, church services, travel adventures, restaurant reviews (anything wrapped in paper or plastic is the norm), deals of the week, inspirational stories and quips. I have never intended my newsletter to be a Sunday School lesson, nor is it any political views on any particular subject. Actually I tend to shy away from voicing my political opinion on issues that are so argumentative.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the newsletters, and if you find yourself disliking them, or for some reason you don't want to receive them any longer, just go to the website www.kirktalley.com and hit the unsubscribe button. And while I am addressing the "how to" problem....If you are currently a subscriber and you have a change of address, all you have to do is rejoin the list using your new email address. Your old address will be automatically dropped from the list when it is undeliverable.

This past weekend I was in Gadsden AL and Ocoee FL. Thursday night, I sang at the Gadsden State Community College. Pat Atkinson is the promoter in Gadsden and he is one funny man!  He was vaccinated with the talking needle! But I love him a lot, and he has been very kind to me. It was an honor to sing for him again. I was on the program with Reign Song, a new group from Chattanooga Tenn. They are very sweet people and their sound is really nice and easy to listen to!

Sunday morning, I was in Ocoee FL at the Way of Grace Ministries. I arrived in Ocoee on Saturday, had some time to kill so I went to a movie ( Man of the Year) and got a haircut before going to the hotel. Yes, I just go in anywhere and say "Can you cut my hair"? Most of the time it turns out ok. But there have been times. . . . . . . I headed to the hotel after the haircut and checked in, ordered the new sausage pizza from Dominoes and watched TV. The next morning,   I headed to the church, got on the wrong turnpike and was headed in the opposite direction! Soon, I knew I was on the wrong road, so I turned around and found my way back to the church. We had a great service. At the end of the testimony, I extended an invitation and 30-40 people came to the altar to pray. Pastor Maddox was so moved by the Presence of the Lord in the building, he could hardly speak. I look forward to returning there. It was a treat to meet several Krew members in person for the first time!

I was listed on a 2:30 pm flight. I headed to the airport but quickly saw I was not going to make that flight. So I stopped at a Bucca De Beppo Italian restaurant and had some wonderful Chicken. ( MEAL OF THE WEEK). I arrived at the airport to sit and wait for the next flight to leave. All the flights through Atlanta were delayed, I didn't get back to Tennessee til about midnight. Of course my luggage arrived twelve hours later!

This Saturday night I will be in Columbus, Mississippi with my friends , the Daryl Williams Trio. Daryl and I have co-written several songs, many that are on the LIVE AT THE RIVER project.    So I am excited about seeing Daryl and Karen, and Shannon Knight. I hope I get to meet a lot of Krew members there !

Dot wanted me to remind you that there are only a few of the Christmas Lamps left. So if you need that Christmas gift, place your order quickly on those!

And thank you for remembering me in prayer. I hope that you will pray for my schedule to fill up, and please keep praying for my Mom's health, and the sale of the Auto Lube.

I count it an honor to communicate with you each week and a bigger honor to rest in the assurance that you are praying for me.

Kirk
