Hello Krew
Hope you all are planning some fun things to do on Labor Day Weekend. If you are
in the East Tennessee area, there are lots of things that are Gospel Music
related going on. Friday night of this week, I will be singing in Pigeon Forge,
TN at the Chapel at the Grand Resort and Hotel on the Parkway. Bring your lawn
chair and enjoy some music. Concert starts at 7 PM. Then on Saturday, I am
hosting a Kirk's Krew trip to Crossville Tenn to the Cumberland County Play
house to see "Smoke On The Mountain" at 11 am CST. If you would like to join us,
call my office. 865 933 2100. Then on Sunday morning, join me for church at
Maranatha Church of the Harvest in Lenoir City, Tenn, and then Sunday night, I
will sing at Shannondale Baptist Church in Knoxville. I will be joined by
Crystal River on Sunday night. It's a very small church so get there early to
get a seat.
This past weekend, I sang in Grand Haven Michigan at the Christian Reformed
Conference Grounds. I had a great time, singing and visiting with some friends
that I hadn't seen in a long time. What a beautiful place it is, right on the
edge of Lake Michigan and the Grand River.
Sunday night, I was back in Knoxville where I attended a concert by my friend
Allison Speer. If you have heard our duet, "Oh Lamb Of Calvary," on the new Live
At the River project, you will know what an awesome soprano Allison is, but
those in attendance learned what a great communicator Allison is also. She is
just a natural with an audience. She invited me to sing our duet with her, and
it was wonderful for me to be on her program. Thank you Allison! I hope that
works out again for us to sing it together.
Last week I asked Krew members to send us book store and radio station
information. Many of you did. We have sent them all notices about the new Live
At The River project. They should be receiving info in the mail shortly. So now,
I hope you will call them and ask if they have the new project, LIVE AT THE
RIVER in stock. And if you are calling a radio station, ask them to play
"Potters Hands" or "Oh Lamb Of Calvary." If you live near Houston, I know that
Ellis Manley already has it in medium rotation, so call them and request it.

to me!. Wow! As I watched the DVD, I had tears in my eyes. What a great project
this is! The new music is awesome! Especially INTIMACY WITH JESUS, OH, LAMB OF
