Hello Krew
Hope this finds everyone
well and happy and ready
for a great 4th of July.
I didn't travel this
weekend so I worked at
the store this weekend.
My feet hurt and I am
pretty tired tonight.
It was great to see some
Krew members this past
Tuesday in Dickson, TN.
The Roger Neal MS
Benefit was a variety of
Gospel Music. It was
nice to see some old
friends in some groups
that I hadn't seen in a
while. The Hoppers and
the Perrys were great!
The Galloways have a
great new song called
"Grace Abounds" that
tore the place up. Was
good to see Aaron
Wilburn again, along
with Laverne Tripp,
Skyline Boys, Ann
Downing and many others.
I don't know the total
amount of money that was
raised for MS that
night, but Roger and
Lynn Neal sure did a
great job of getting the
groups there and I
appreciate their heart
for folks who suffer
with MS. The Scooter
Store was on hand to
give away a scooter to a
lady in the audience who
has suffered with MS for
many years.

Last Sunday I attended
one of the sweetest
services I have ever
been in. I went to
Maryville TN to hear the
Collingsworth Family. I
have known this family
for many years but
hadn't really seen them
in concert since the
kids grew up and started
singing on stage with
Phil and Kim. I was so
blessed by their talent
and their presentation.
If you haven't heard the
Collingsworth Family,
you really need to go
see them when they are
in your area. Kim is an
incredible piano artist
and can hang right in
there with the best of
the very best. Actually,
she would put 99% of
piano players packing!
Their children can sing
all the harmony parts
and their presentation
is a wide variety of
combinations but all put
together great with new
arrangements and new
music. Their new
project, FAITHFUL is
simply incredible!

Meal of the week--
Thursday night of last
week my neighbors
decided they would show
me that they really
could cook southern
style! So I was treated
to Pot Roast, Baked
Chicken, Green Beans,
Fried Okra, Boiled
Potatoes, Cole Slaw,
Fried Green Tomatoes,
Deviled Eggs, Cornbread,
Macaroni and Cheese (the
best I have ever had),
Fresh tomatoes, Banana
Bread, Pumpkin Bread and
homemade Chocolate
Eclairs!

Response to the Cruise
has been great so far!
Lots of people have
called to get registered
to go. John Darrin
Rowsey will be joining
me on the cruise. John
is a GREAT writer and
singer. He used to
travel with Karen Peck
and New River and has
written a lot of top
Gospel Songs down
through the years. John
will be singing on the
cruise with me and I
know you will enjoy his
talent. There will be a
couple more surprises
also.
If you haven't been on a
cruise vacation, you owe
it to yourself to
experience it at least
once in your life! And
why not travel with some
fun people????? I would
love to have you join us
in February. It will be
cold with probably 2
feet of snow on the
ground, ice will be
heavy and the wind will
be cutting you like a
knife............so
let's leave the cold and
head south to Cozumel
and the Grand Caymen.
We leave from Tampa
Monday, February 26,
2007 and return
Saturday, March 3, 2007.
The outside cabins are
$723.35 each and the
inside cabins are
$653.35 each. Both
prices are based on
double occupancy. We
have cruise information
on the website now and
you can print it off if
you like - including a
registration form.

Or you can call the
office and Dot will take
care of you.
