Hello Krew
Just a few things this week. As you know I didn't sing this
past weekend so again I enjoyed being in my home church,
listening to my pastor be his usual wonderful self! Sunday
morning we enjoyed the music of FIRST LOVE. Troy and Katy
Peach and JP Miller did a great job and our folks loved
them. Speaking of FIRST LOVE......They will be with me March
25th in Maryville TN with Phil Cross and Poet Voice and
Allison Speer.! It's going to be a great night of music!
Everyone needs to come to that. Katie will have had twins by
then and we will get to see them! Troy and Katie told me
about the contest they were having to name the twins.
I suggested Fuzzy and Juicy but I don't think it will be

next day, after church, we will go to Crossville TN to the
Cumberland County Playhouse to see STEEL MAGNOLIAS. The
matinee is at 2:30 pm CST. Tickets are $23.00 per person and
if we have enough, we can get the group rate of $20.00. If
you want to go with us, please call Dot at 865 933 2100 and
get your name on the list. Hopefully we can find a pizza
place afterwards! Come spend the weekend with us.
Sure enjoyed being in Fleetwood NC last weekend (January 15)
at the Faith Chapel. Fleetwood is up in the Blue Ridge
Mountains near Boone and it was great to see some of my
friends in that area of NC. I even had some friends come
down from Virginia to be there for the service.

Hopefully all the problems with
the newsletter is worked out by now. For people with Hotmail
who are still having a problem getting a newsletter in the
correct format, it might help if you "right click on the
message and change the encoding to UTF8".
February 18 and 19 I will again be in Arlington VA at the
First Assembly of God. Saturday night the 18th will be a
great night of music featuring the church choir, Kendra Penn
and myself. We will be combining a lot of music and I think
its going to be spectacular. Rob Horner has been working
hard on this evening and he assures me it's going to be one
of a kind. If you want to join us for the weekend, Rod has
even arranged special rates as the Comfort Inn .

I have gotten lots of mail about the concert this weekend in
Conyers Ga. I am very excited about it! Allison Speer will
join me, John Starnes and the Hoppers will be singing. I am
sure Allison and I will do the duets, "I'd Rather Have
Jesus" and "Oh Lamb Of Calvary" I hope a lot of Krew members
will call and order tickets in the next few days. I
understand there will be no tickets sold at the door. Go to

From Conyers, I will be going to Kinston NC for a Sunday
Morning and Sunday Evening service at the Pentecostal
Holiness Church. That church has a music program that is
exciting and wonderful. If you are in Eastern NC, please
join me that day. Looking forward to seeing Alan and Jane
Farmer and Jeff and "Roberta" Gibson.

Another great concert coming up will be the Trio concert in
Tyler Texas! Feb 2nd at Colonial Hills Baptist Church . I
have talked to Shane and Anthony and they are both geared up
for a great night of music, and it will only be great if all

I hope I get to see all the Krew this year. Keep praying for
my mom, the sale of the autolube. Also, please pray for a
young man in Texas who was beat up by his parents when he
confided in them .
