CommentsThank you, again, for sharing your story. While we're not in the same place on the path to reconciliation, I hope we end up at the same destination. Thank you for knowing and saying how hard this is. Today I'll go to church for the first time in two years because you started me longing for that soaring worship experience I miss so desperately.

Your songs cut straight to the heart...Your friends, Poet Voices, Allison Speer and First Love were awesome as well. We always try to see you in concert when we can..cause we know it will be an annointed and Spirit-filled evening. We love you and are praying for you.

Please don't ever let anything stop you from singing for the glory of God. You will never know how much you blessed my sister while she was suffering with cancer. When she heard you sing "Serenated By Angels"the peace of God was upon her. God blessed you with such a wonderful talent, don't ever let anyone hinder you. God bless you is my prayer.

CommentsHi Kirk,
I just want to thank you for taking the time to share your music and your story with Advantage Conferences in Orlando, Florida this past weekend (03/19/06).
I cannot begin to tell you how much your story has touched and CHANGED my life!! I have never been so impacted by someone's testimony (other than Brennan Manning - Rafamuffin Gospel) than I was by yours!
God touched me so gently (He's such a Gentleman!) and showed me how much a loose tongue can actually destroy someone's life, vision and hope! I cried the rest of that afternoon! I had to get on my face before God and ask His forgiveness for using my tongue in a manner that did not glorify His Name!
Thank you so much for your courage to share your story! I love your energy, your humility and your spirit!
May God Richly Bless all your future endeavors and may He place a hedge of protection around you!
God Bless from Maine!

Ill never forget that; Ill also never forget the songs you have shared with us; one of my all time favorites being Serenaded by Angels. My mom; whom has seen you in concert years ago here in Danville VA loves that song; its one of her favorites and Id like to say thank you for that. You are truly one of Gospel Musics all time leading artist.

CommentsKirk,
Just wanted you to know how much our family has thought about you in the past few months. Matthew (my son) still has your picture on his bulletin board from when you sang at Southwood here in Tulsa. He was about 6 or 7 at the time... he is now in the US ARMY, and is stationed in Germany... soon to be deployed to Baghdad, Iraq - June 26, 2006. He will be home on leave April 7 - 22... hope you will have a minute to either email him, or myself...
Was cleaning out my office last week, and found the receipt for the jewelry I purchased from you while you were here at our home....wish we could all have those happy times again!
Know that you are an inspiration to us with your music... and after reading your story in GQ last fall, you have been on the top of our prayer list... we too have had struggles, trials and been to the pits and back. Know that God has continued to use you, and your talents to minister to millions!
We have tickets to the Gaither Homecoming here in Tulsa on the 31st of March... wish you were coming! Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks... for your willingness to share the good times, the hurts, and your God given talents... Keep it up... onward and UPWARD!

CommentsKirk you are in my prayers. JMAC, you are in my prayers too, I just hope you don't telll anyone that you are a Christian. I'm sure your actions speak as loud and hurtful as your words. I just hope that when you have a fault or admit that you have a fault or failure that you don't run into a Christian like yourself to turn to for help.

Comments i had no idea that you have this struggle, i was looking for a song that someone said you sang , and found this web page. i have been living for the lord since nov. 1996. i was very active in homosexuality before living for god. since then i have been in a battle in my mind, sometimes i feel i have it beat, then sometimes i feel it has me beat. i know that the lord will see all of us that struggle with things of this nature through to victory, if we stay focused on him, giving him praise and glory. someday all those people that have said hurtful things to and about you will have a struggle that leaves them feeling alone. pray for them and have compassion for them, i believe that is what the lord would have us to do.
i wish i had great words of wisdom for you, i don't, but i know a god that loves you and my prayers are with you.
love in christ

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your music. You have a God given talent so please use it every chance you get. My favorite song is "Serenading with Angels". Thank you for the blessings you have given to us with your music.

CommentsKirk,
I must say after reading your testimony, I was shocked! I got married five years ago and started a family (2 little ones 14 months apart) I haven't kept up on all the southern gospel happenings for a while. Reading your testimony is so encouraging. You are no different than anyone else. You have problems just like the rest of us. We all have issues Satan uses to get to us. I remember being a teen and you were the one that got your picture on my bedroom wall (and Roger Bennett). I would go to concerts and think wow what a life, they everything they want. I have grown up now and realize what you see on the outside is not always is what is on the inside. I am proud of you for all you have done. I just know that God isn't quite finished with you yet. He isn't finished with any of us yet. Thank you so much for sharing your story, you have so much to offer people, I thank God for you! Bless you, Kirk!

CommentsHello Kirk, I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the service at the Dolphin today. Thank you for sharing the most honest words I have ever heard. When I got home I watched your DVD and it was so powerful I cried through the whole thing. If more people had the conviction and honesty you have this world would be a much better place. I hope you come back to our vicinityagain, I would love to talk to you longer about some of the things I have gone through in my life. Keep up you ministry, our Prayers are with you. God Bless you.

CommentsHi Kirk, Just wanted to let you know that I admire you and love your music. The songs you write are God given and are annointed (well, maybe not the fruitcake one!). I had the privilege of seeing you in Dec. in MI and was struck by your openness and with how God has led you through this difficult journey. Keep on keeping on. I pray that because of your participation in Anthony's funeral services, those of SG who have shunned you will repent and see how ungodly they have been in their attitudes. We loved Anthony and know that you have lost a faithful and wonderful friend. God bless you. We love you and your music.
Just keep on being faithful and telling your story and God will use it to reach others for Him.

Satan reveals himself sometimes through frenzied, flailing attacks like
JMAC40405. God is using you mightily or you would not have attacks this
obvious.
The tone of the e-mail not only reveals the desperation of the enemy
(Satan), but also the self-doubts and self-loathing of the individual who
sent the
e-mail. You are a precious brother. Do not let it get to you.

Comments sincerely prayed for Mr. JMAC today!!! this is a chance to love the unlovable?? and maybe give hope where there was none. I prayed that God would send people across his path that would show him a side of God and his Christain faith that he had never experienced before.. I honestly HONESTLY prayed for the joy of the Lord to surround him and that blessings would OVERTAKE him. Though I may never see his face on this earth I will continue my prayers for him as well as hundreds who lash out against Kirk.......but who are not so brave as our Mr JMAC was. Bitterness will destroy and I want no part of it!!!!! God has instructed that we pray and bless our enemy. He has promised to ordain peace for us.......and for that, and in this situation I AM THANKFUL. MY Daddy's sermon in our house was always ATTITUDE!! ATTITUDE!! ATTITUDE!! Grace and mercy are priceless gifts. Hang tuffffff Kirk. The devil always hits you when you're down. Not like you had'nt been through enough in the past few weeks.. It's wonderful to see how many precious people are behind you......... It is a joy to be in the family of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CommentsPat, I agree with you to a point.....We don't need to spend a lot of time with
"Jmac's" posting. I do think sometime a little "righteous anger" is in order and perhaps scriptural. In all candor though, he does need our prayers and forgiveness for his foolishness. I pray he will grow and mature in his walk with God. If he rants again, I will not respond.

CommentsFirst , I am a Baptist preacher who has gone through a devorce. I feel your pain. I am sure that you have learned by now that there are a lot of preaching but littl practicing. I have learned that some of the meanest people in the world are some who claim to be Christians. If God can love as we are then why do we not love each other as we are.
Grace man, God's grace, grace that is greater than all our sins. Love you for just keep on keeping on. One day it will be different

How proud I am to call you my Brother in Christ. When He looks at you and me HE sees only the blood of Christ and says "What sins are you talking about?" Our job is not to judge, but to love and restore our brothers and sisters in Christ. I have been a fan of yours for many years and continue to support you.
God bless you. Keep on proclaiming God's forgiveness and HOPE!

CommentsDear Kirk, I am happy to see that so many people (including us) want to remind you that we all still love you. I am sorry that you have to deal with nasty comments like the previous "J."
I have dealt with many a nasty comment my self for sins I committed many years ago. Unfortunately, this is one of the results of sin. We know what God says about forgiveness though so please do not let it hurt you. (easier said than done though huh?) We do not know each- other but I care about you and your feelings. So, when people are unforgiving please remember this for me. There are people out there who need to hear your story. I even learned from it. There are people out there who will not benefit from your story. As you wade through the sea of the forgiving and the unforgiving, God knows where you are needed. If only one person is saved or helped by your testimony, you still need to fulfill Gods will. You may have to endure 1000 cruel people to get to the one the Lord wants you to speak to. No doubt the road ahead of you is difficult. I hope it will help you to remember that so many who have never met you love and care about you and are praying for you even in your darkest times. How wonderful to know that no matter where we go, God never leaves us alone. Also, Gods forgiveness is all you need. He is in control. He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE! Who cares if some men do not!!!!

That was just to let you know Kirk Talley you are definately doing something that is twisting the devil's head around.
Hey mister whoever you are.........ever read the scripture that reminds us that the CALLING OF GOD IS WITHOUT REPENTANCE????????????????
What HE gives He will never take back. We ALL have skeletons in our closets....and judging from the ones in my own closet I sure don't wanna go back in there to be reminded of my mistakes. Only the DEVIL himself would suggest going BACK in your closet ...and throw past mistakes in your face!!!!!!!!!!
GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME!!!!!!!! who is a FORGIVER NOT AN ACCUSER!!!!!!
MY!!!!!! OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a joy to serve JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blessings on you MR J. whoever??????
Cause if you aint worthy to get that blessing It'll come back to me.!!!!! I pray God will heap the JOY on you!!!!!!! and bless you goin' in and coming out...in front of you behind you beside you and every which way but loose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more we show this guy that we are angry, the happier he will be.
He seems sort of like an obscene ph call. I know all of you have had then and the more angry you get the calls will keep coming and so will this guy, He is probably siting back laughing, and he will return again as long as he is making someone angry.
I am just going on and enjoy kirk's music and his ministry. Keep up the good work Kirk. We all love you in the name of the Lord.

CommentsJmao .... I don't think you need another person to tell you how pathetic you sound...so I won't say it ! I will say you have given Christianity a black eye. Shame on you! I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of gay people in heaven, the question is...will you be there? You will be held accountable for your nasty attitude and for attacking a child of God.

CommentsYou know what, none of us should even give this guy any time. All he is wanting is attention, and as long as we leave him alone God will take care of him.
You know one can not make it to heaven with unforgiveness on the heart. Try not to comment on his messages he is trying to start stuff, and he don't need the attention. We need to pray for him everytime we read something like this. Poor Guy he is only hurting himself and missing out on such a good blessing by not knowing and listening to Kirk's ministry.

CommentsJMAC means Just, Making, Asinine, Comments!!!!! What a creep!!! Get a clue man!!! If I was Kirk, I wouldn't have posted your comments. But since I'm not Kirk, and since he DID post your comments, may I say a few things to you....first....get a dictionary, your spelling is terrible!! Second, it's people like you that surely must cause the heart of God to break in pieces. God sent his Son to live on this earth, among sinners, just like you and just like me. And Christ was tempted in ALL points, like as we are, yet without sin. Therefore he is able to understand the trials and the obstacles and temptations that we all face. Surely at times he is grieved with us all for the choices we make in this life....but it never keeps him from being the Father to us that he said he would be to his children. We all slip, we all fall, but we all have the opportunity to get back up and try again. Thank God He NEVER gives up on his own!!!! Perhaps an apology is in order on your part. First apologize to Kirk for making such comments, and for being a complete BONEHEAD!!!! Then, I suggest you spend some time alone with God, confessing your own sinful heart. And asking his forgiveness for taking it upon yourself to judge one of his own. You're in my prayers, brother/sister. God help you!

Commentsjmao - You sure are a pitiful person. If you had one ounce of religion and decency, you would never think of posting such garbage. May the good Lord have mercy on your soul. If you were only 1/10th as righteous as Kirk - you would be blessed. His ministry is leading many souls to Christ. If anyone should hear his ministry, personally, I think you should. Maybe - just maybe - the Lord could work in your twisted mind. You are a poor example to be advising others what to do. Maybe instead of picking Christians apart, you could do yoursel a favor and enroll in a course to improve your spelling. That would benefit you and give you less time for your unwise comments. Kirk -- continue in your walk with the Lord. Defeat Satan. GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO WE. Annette -----
P.S. jmao - it,s pretty bad when you have to conceal your name.

CommentsThe only one who has just hurt the cause for getting people saved here is you, Jmac! What you are saying is that God is not capable of forgiving even Kirk. I can think of many people God has forgiven - at the last minute, it was the thief on the cross; the woman who entertained men in her house; Judas, who betrayed, etc. Any one of these acts is a betrayal to God, yet he forgave and he continues to forgive. Kirk is anointed and his concerts prove that. If you have gone to one of his concerts with this attitude, then you already decided before you got there that you would let Satan control your thoughts....As for the rest of us who fill up those chapels, we leave more blessed for being there. Keep singing Kirk! Keep stirring our hearts! With much love and support, Diane

CommentsKirk,
I want to express my distaste at the previous comment that was posted on this same date. As a follower of Christ, I become ever so weary of how many American church attenders wear the identification "Christian" so loosely these days. It can be embarrassing some times. I am reminded of the New Testament church and the way Jesus confronted "religious" people. In particular I thought of the woman caught in adultery. I wonder if Jesus could write on these comments the way He wrote in the sand that day what He would have to say.
Thank you for your courage and testimony of God's grace and His saving and restoring power. I pray that God will continue to use you as a conduit for the power of the Holy Spirit to confront darkness and destruction and restore life and hope in Jesus Christ. Blessings!

CommentsThis is to Jmao40405@msn.com. The first thing I noticed was that you didn't put your name on your comments. If you are going to write and criticize someone, the least you could do is use proper spelling and grammer. Kirk has confessed his sins to any and all who will listen or can read. It is people like you who give Christianity a bad name. You must have a sad, lonely life to be so vile and vindictive toward someone you don't even know. As for Kirk's singing and songwriting, he has proved over and over through the years, with the awards that he has won as well as the people who have come to know the Lord from listening to his songs, that he is one of the best in gospel music. He has to answer to God for his sins, as we all do, not to you, me, or any other person on this earth. Kirk, keep doing whatever the Lord leads you to do. Those of us who know you and love you will be there to support you.

Commentsyou are so freaking ridiculous!!! (excuse the language) i know you wont post this because you only post the "great" things people post about you but i dare u to post this. Of course you wont. U have to keep your name up. Well why dont you worry about southern gospels name and the independent fundamental baptist churchs name. Why dont you just shut your mouth and get out of the stinking singing proffesion because you suck anyways. If your stinking gay or use to be well shut your mouth and go hide in a closet with your little gay friend. Don tell the world about it. And quit getting up in front of people and trying to be an example to them. GOD IS NOT GOING TO USE YOU IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOUR LIFE AND YOU KNOW OF IT AND DONT CONFESS IT. TO HIM THAT KNOWETH TO DO GOOD AND DOETH IT NOT TO HEM IT IS SIN. SO SHUT YOUR STINKING MOUTH IF YOU DONT TRULY LOVE GOD AND SIT DOWN. IF YOU DONT LOVE GOD ENOUGH TO GET RID OF YOUR SICK, VILE, PERVERTED, DISHONORING ABOMINATION TO GOD THAN DONT STAND UP AND ACT LIKE YOU DO LOVE HIM. YOURE HURTING OUR CAUSE OF GETTING OTHERS SAVE. SO GO AHEAD I DARE YOU TO POST THIS ONE!!!!!!

CommentsIn a little less than eight months since his last concert, we had Kirk again in concert at Faith Baptist Church. With comparatively little lead time to publicize, our church was filled. Even more importantly, the Holy Spirit ministered Jesus Christ through Kirk. Kirk's humble spirit has undergone even more maturing and growth since our last concert with him. Kirk did not try to "entertain" us, but challenged us to greater integrity and consistency in our Christian life. God-willing, we WILL have Kirk Talley again in our church. And, by the way, Kirk's "forgotten" masterpiece, "Evergreen", is even more appropriate and applicable than when it was written decades ago.

Comments was shopping at a Bible Outlet store at the large & popular Rockvale Outlet Mall in Lancaster, PA the other day & came across a large selection of Kirk Talley tapes for sale. I loaded up on what I could. They had many other artist such as the Talley Trio but several of Kirk. I guess most folks are only using CDs but my suv still has a tape player so it was a real blessing to find. Some Southern Gospel groups & Christian artists do not even make tapes anymore. Anyway, I met someone tonight who apparently met you at a concert & she talked of how sweet you are. I know loosing Anthony has been so hard. Great for him but soo sad for the rest of us. We was supposed to be at the Sandy Cove Bible Conf. in MD in 2 weeks. The postcards advertising him just arrived the day of his funeral. The Talley Trio comes in May. God Bless.

CommentsKirk I just want to say that I've followed your career for the most part over the past few years. I wasn't aware of the trying time you've been through until recently. The Southern Gospel music industry is so blessed to have talented ones such as yourself. Several years ago when you were with the Talleys, I saw you at a concert in Oklahoma City. I was at an all-time low at that time in my life and was ready to give up on everything. Unhappily married with 2 children, feeling trapped in a job that I despised, I felt the end of my rope was near. That night you, Roger and Debbie sang "If It Had Not Been for the Lord on my Side". It was the first time I had heard it and I broke into tears. I knew then that I could make it as the words flooded my soul with hope and faith. It really is true that so many times a song will minister to people when a sermon at church misses "the mark". Keep up the good work and I am sorry for the loss of Anthony. He was truly one of a kind...
Sincerely,
Terry Grant

CommentsKirk,I used to go to a lot of concerts you were at and one time I went to the table and I walked up when there was only a few people standing around and they just keep waiting on others. I wasn't in a line just standing at the front of the table. And you came out and asked if you could help me. I though that was so nice of you even with a line that had formed after I was standing there for awhile. You didn't make any difference. I saw you last at the singing in the sun concert when the motorcycle convention was going on. Years ago. Didn't know what had happened to you. But sure missed the good songs. I am sorry you have went through so much in life. And didn't know what to do or how to get help. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. But just keep on leaning on the wonderful arms of Jesus. He will get you through. God Bless

CommentsKirk,
I was sent you testimony today to read. I wanted to tell you how I admire your honesty. It takes a BIG man to state in public that you struggle. I feel God will use you to help so many others because you can honestly say, I know how you feel. Your music has always been great, but people will now admire your life as much as your music.

What a beautiful service at Elizabethtown, PA. 3-4-06. The Lord was truely in our midst. You are truly a man of God. Your testimony is very moving and challenging. So thankful you do not let a few negative comments defeat your walk with Christ. For every negative comment, there are countless more positive ones. God is using you and your talents in a mighty way as you walk with him. --Friends-- If we having nothing kind to say, let,s not say anything at all.
Thanks again for signing my CD,s, all 10 of them. I,ve never met a more gracious performer than you. Praying for you daily that many souls will come to know him thru your ministry. Hope to see you again soon in Pennsylvania.
Blessings,
Annette

CommentsKirk - I've noticed that you've added "Anthony's Page" under PHOTOS on your web site. What a sweet gesture for you to do as a tribute to Anthony. I know that Anthony was a true friend to you. We're thankful that he was one of a few who stood by you in the darkest hours of your life. Thank you, Kirk, for helping us to present THE TRIO in concert for the last time in Tyler, Texas, before Anthony was called home by our Lord. We will treasure that memory always. Keep your eyes turned upon Jesus, Kirk. You are NEVER alone for our Lord walks right along beside you. KEEP LOOKING UP!

I hope that the loss of anthony will not leave you feeling alone. Even though I can't call you every week like he did, but
you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please be encouraged that you are not alone and that God will be there with you.

CommentsKirk: WOW, what an amazing young man and servant of God. Your openness and honesty is like a breath of fresh air. I am retired after serving thirty-eight years as a minister of the Christian Gospel. Years ago a group called The Platters sang a song entitled "The Great Pretender". It is so descriptive of far too many people in the Church, pretending that they are so righteous and ready to judge everyone else. Hold your head high and sing of God's amazing love and grace. I've got good news for you, as if you didn't already know it-God's grace is more than sufficient. With love and admiration

CommentsWOW! I was a big fan of the Talley trio years ago, more recently I would see you with the Cathederals in Lancaster, PA. The last few years however, we didn't make it to the concerts and I had no idea of all you have been through.
God is and will use you in a mighty way. Your testimony is amazing. It's all about the GRACE. Where would any of us be without it. I'll be praying for you.

CommentsKirk: I am blessed daily as I listen to your clear, honest lyrics. God has given you a special way with words & music. I praise Him for His good choice of vessels. I was never in the loop concerning your struggles, but I understand the process of your recovery as clearly Biblical. More according to God's way of working than alot of man-preaching. I am a Pastor, and I understand how we get in the way of what God is doing. Continue your good work as Christ completes His good work in you. You are loved and appreciated.

CommentsKirk, what a tremendous blessing you are to the body of Christ! Thank God for your transparency - it's a rare trait anymore... especially in the church world! God is going to bring MIRACLES you never expected... physically, emotionally, financially and every other way! YOU ARE A WINNER! "He who started the work is able to complete it in you!"

CommentsI was at Both the Nashville and the Cleveland Funeral for Anthony Burger. I loved both but the one today in Cleveland seemed much nicer. It wasn't a Gaither show. Thank you for being real and down to earth. I was so glad they let you sing and speak. I know Anthony was a great friend to you. And I am sure you have been a great friend to him too. You are loved my many.

CommentsGod bless you forever, Kirk. It is quite clear that God took that the enemy meant for evil and turned it into good. I am an on-the-air personality on 1580 WVKO in Columbus, Ohio. I want to use I've been there on my programs "A Morning of New Mercies" and "Praise and Worship Sunday. If you will get those to me, it will bless my listening audience. You are certainly in my prayers for your honesty, courage and committment to the ministry of winning souls for the Kingdom. You already have the victory.

CommentsDear Kirk, I'm praying for you as you take part in Anthony's service. Just read your testimony and all I can say is praise God that you are fighting the good fight. I sing bass in a Southern Gospel group named Redeemed and this week I'm stepping up to sing my first solo concert and I'd sing with you anytime or share the stage. Shame on those who call themselves Christians but are willing to cast stones. You are my Mom's favorite singer and I've promised to sing "Serenade by Angels at her funeral. I'd rather here you sing it. Keep the Faith. You brother in the Lord Don

Why do we always try to keep each other down. Kirk is no't trying to dodge anything. If someone is right with God, why do we want to keep reminding them of their past. Thankfully no one knows about all of us and we don't have to answer to the comments of hundreds on a web page. Shame on us as Christians.....we are not God.

CommentsYour life has disappointed a lot of people that had confidence in you. It just makes you weary of who is real and who is living a lie and trying to make money at using GOD.
I hope you have turned your life around. It is harder for man to forgive you than God, but because God forgave us for our sins. Than we should forgive you. But it is wrong to live a lie and not have enough fear of God in you to hide it.
But I do hope you are a changed man.
God have mercy on you if not.

CommentsKirk, so glad you got to be a part of
Anthony Burger's service. He had been so kind to you. Want you to know I
introducted "Serenaded by Angels" at a
funeral Tues. A dear neighbor of mine for 30 yrs passed away at age 87. Her
family did not have music planned and
I asked for permission to use your song.
I had so many favorable comments about
it and it set the tone for a beautiful,
sweet funeral which my husband and I
participated in. Many people afterwards
wanted to know how to get it. So that
song just goes on and on. Yesterday
I drove from Merced to Fresno and
in the car listened to it over and over.
It helped me accept this lady was in
heaven and truly surrounded by angels.
We love you and have prayer for you
and pray soon you will come back to
the Merced-Fresno-Modesto area. God
Bless. Love, Faye Beasley

CommentsHello Kirk....
I was moved to tears just reading your testimony and following your story over the last couple of years......You see I understand your struggle because since I was younger I have struggled with the same issue you have. I often wanted to just take my life and thought that by doing so. My struggle would be over. Even though we have never met you have been a big encouragement to me & I pray for you and feel a connection with you as a brother in Christ. I also have sat and cried hearing the news of Anthony’s death because he ministered so much to me through his music.....ever since I was a little boy growing up in a broken home and finally being removed from that home when I was 10 I have loved the Piano....I started listening to the Gaither homecoming DVD's about 2 1/2 years ago....My sin was finally exposed about that time and I was arrested and my marriage of 23 years came to an end.... I would sit at home feeing the same way you did just wanting to kill myself to get rid of the pain....It was at that time that I started buying the Gaither DVD's...and I would listen to them over and over again and allow the music to minister to my spirit. The Holy Spirit kept leading me right back to that music when I would get into a deep depression and want to hurt myself....After listening to the music I would often cry myself to sleep. Anthony on the piano ever time I watch him play and just listen I could feel the Holy Spirit working through him to minister to my spirit even though I had never met him I felt a deep deep connection......I also listen to you on a couple of the DVD’s and felt the same way.
Christ is our healer and restores our broken bodies and thank God....He does not look at us like many in the church look at us......We have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb...
I hope someday I have the opportunity to meet you in person and listen to you testily and sing about the goodness of God...
May God Richly Bless you and thank you so much for baring your soul ...so that people such as myself can be encouraged and know that there is truly a free Grace that God has for those that earnestly seek him......
Kirk I am sure it is probably not possible but I would love to hear back from you and I will be praying for you and your ministry....
In His Love
JOHN
