I just wanted to thank you for your music. It is awesome, the gift that God gave you. I can sense a passion in the way you sing that very few people have. Your testimony is one that will help so many people. I'm sure that there are many Christians, even in my own church, that struggle with this and are helped by your honesty and humility. Don't think that it doesn't help EVERYONE, though - it has changed my outlook on this problem so very much, although I don't personally struggle with it. It's easy to be judgmental and condemn people, but I thank you for openly sharing your testimony because I now know the seriousness of the problem and it has molded my Christian walk. It really opened up a "ministry" for me at school. In the public school system, same-sex attraction has busted into the open. What a wonderful opportunity I have to witness and help others. God bless you always and keep you.

I love your music. Life is a struggle. Kepp your eyes on Jesus and not the so called church. Many in the church will hurt you, but not true Christians that try to be like Jesus. Your honesty is something that can only come from God. I believe you and know you can make it. God will NEVER leave you.

Hi Kirk: We enjoyed your concert @ First Gen Bap church in Jackson last month. My mother was with me and we took pictures she is a 75 year young white haired lady that listens to your CD's daily on Saturday after seeing you she fell and broke her hip and shattered her left arm I have had to put her in the Luteren Home in Cape Girardeau, MO until I can handle her @ home I'm moving her and my Dad in with me. She loves Saranaded by Angels it's her favorite sing it for her sometime and say a little prayer for her she has followed your ministry for years and loves you. Kirk, We heard you sing in concert Sat. night in Sweetwater. It was our first time. We love your music and love to hear you sing. We bought your DVD Live at the River and watched it together today. We especially loved the song "Oh Lamb of Calvary" and "The Potter's Hands". We were blown away by your story. What a powerful testimony of God's love and grace! Thank you for your message. We believe in you. Sincerely, Your new krew.

Robyn-yes. While it is not nearly on the same level... Taking Kirk out of Southern Gospel music is like taking Christ out of Christmas. The history of Southern Gospel music is mythical if KT is ommitted. In addition, I don't know about you Robyn, but I would like to know what scriptures they are basing their "isolationalism philosophy" on-I sure have not found it. Thanks Robyn.

Kirk, I have not written lately due to challenging things happening in my life. I have been so busy but I never stopped praying. Prayer does change things and God always listens. HE never slumbers nor sleeps. I am so excited about God and what HE has done in my life. Keep entering those doors that open and HE will bless you in every way. Never ever forget HIM. You know one comment my son always ask is where is Jesus? He is with us here just like when you sing He is Here. Love in Christ

Kirk is too modest and would never share this, so I thought I would. In August we are launching a very high profile Nationwide Southern Gospel Music Station on new technology known as iRadio and will also stream online at two sites. I chose Kirk as the first member of our advisory board. His contributions have been outstanding and I appreciate his thoughts. When other stations have no room-KIRK TALLEY WILL BE HEARD LOUD AND STRONG ON OUR TWO STATIONS.... stay tuned for more details.

Hi Kirk! It was such a blessing to hear you in concert on July 22 in Maiden,NC. My husband, son, a friend of his and myself drove 1 hour and half to hear you and of course you were just as good as you were in King and Germanton back in June . I thing all churches need to hear your message and now the Lord is using you through your ministry.

Wow! I do not know why I, for no reason, pulled up your website. But it seems God brought you to my mind and I am so glad He did. I read your testimony and I will be praying for you that God will use you in a mighty way. I have never had to deal with what you are dealing with, but as a Christian man I have had to deal with lust for women, hate, bitterness, envy etc all of which have to be covered with the blood of a sinless Saviour, Jesus Christ, who loves me AND YOU. Please read thes verses that follow (I have them underlined in my Bible: Zechariah 9:12, Job 42:10,12 Job 11:6 and especially Isaiah 61:7 New KJV. Look ar Rev Jimmy Swaggart as an example of what God can do if we trust Him. Rev.Swaggart's ministry will be many times greater in the near future than it was before his shameful fall. I believe God will restore your ministry as well and use you more than he has ever has in the past! There are thousands of men just like you that will have victory because of your honest testimony. As long as Jesus gets the glory, he will use you. Remember Christ died for the ungodly. The sick needs the physician. The judgemental people are not being honest with themselves. But you are. And until a person empties themselves of themselves, the Holy Spirit can't fill them or use them. I will be praying for you and I am expecting God to use you in a mighty way. And as verse 10 of Job 42 says "when Job prayed for his friends, then God restored his losses" So pray for your sister, don't harbor resentment or bitterness toward her, or anyone else who tries to keep you down if you want God to restore your losses. I am trucker who enjoys your music and I enjoyed your visit to Herb's Fish Camp in Runnelstown Ms a few years back. I will be praying for you. Prayerfully, a true brother in Christ,

Kirk, I appreciate Rev. Manley's comments, and apology. He made a judgement on other peoples words, or opinions. When he saw and heard the work of God's love and grace in you, he realized his error, and wrong doing. Like the song says, "Judge Not!" Even Ministers make mistakes, but he was humble enough to apologize to you. Blessings on Rev. Manley, and of course you. You are my Favorite, so keep up the good work. I am hearing many good things about you. a Krew member....Ella

Dear Kirk, I have wondered where you have been for quite some time. I am so glad that you are back doing what the LORD has called you to do. Our prayers are and will be with you because we know that HE IS STRONGER than the enemy. One of the reasons that I wanted to send you a message is what happened in our church this past Sunday morning as our choir sang the song you wrote" OH HOW SWEET." As we began to sing, the POWER OF GOD and THE HOLY SPIRIT really ministered to our Minister of Music and everyone in the choir. The pianist is my niece and we sang that chorus over and over and over and over!!! That song ministered to everyone in that service that wanted and needed a touch! There are a few of us that really needed that touch Sunday because those of us that seem to be on the front lines seem to be getting the firery darts. Brother Kirk, keep writing the songs that HE gives to you, because only when you get to Heaven will you know what your songs have done! My Dad was a Gospel song writer, you and he had met before he went Home seven years ago. In fact, The TRIO recorded What a Lovely Name, He was Charles B. Wycuff. He thought alot of you and our family does too! OBTW, Sunday we had no preaching due to SPIRIT OF GOD taking over in your song! Keep up the good fight and you will be safe in HIS STRONG ARMS!! Blessings, Joan

Kirk, My mother introduced me to your music as she has always been a big fan of yours. Since she doesn't have email she wanted me to let you know that you you have always been one of her favorite singers and that she will continue to pray for you and your ministry. I also wanted to let you know that I believe God can use a broken vessel to mend broken hearts. We as Christians need to be careful when we find ourselves judging other Christians. Especially to the point of denying someone who truly repents the opportunity to share their God given talents with others. Mom remind me of the scripture that says, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". I believe that God can use the struggles we go through to help us reach others who are facing similar things. Mom and I will continue to pray for you and that God's love and strength will continue to guide you in your ministry. We hope that one day we will get to see you in concert. Your Sisters in Christ!

After reading your guestbook and seeing some apologies, I realize, that I too was guilty of talking about you in a bad way. And I allowed others to speak negatively about you to me. I stood and listened to a couple of singers run you down at Dollywood, and now I realize I am just as wrong as I thought you were. Please forgive me. I am very sorry. I have started praying for your ministry daily now.

Kirk, You have always been such a joyful presence of God. I know that no matter the struggles and challenges you have faced you could not have the talent and gift you have if you were not touched by God. When my mother was ill with cancer we used to watch the Gaither tapes every day practically and get such fulfillment and joy from watching you and all the singers performing. I was with a longtime family friend at a concert you put on at a church in knoxville not long after my mother and this friends mother had passed away within months of one another. When you sang your Angels song (can't exactly recall Title), we both just broke and were so happy to see our mothers with you on that stage while you were singing. They both adored you and were so much that song. You will always be #1 in our eyes. God bless you always. You will overcome and be better because of your struggles.

I am so proud of you. I used to go to Watermelon Park every summer just to hear you sing. What a wonderful voice and what a beautiful person you are in and out. To me sex preferences are what you have to deal with within yourself. I still love you and admire you just like always. I am old enough to be your Grandmother probably but I have always adored you. You are one strong man to admit to these feelings and to deal with them. Those promoters who do not want you to sing again are losing out on a special person and I know God would not approve. They will have to answer to him one day. Keep the good work up and I will continue to pray for you. Charlotte Wells Smithfield VA

Hi, As you know I have never written in your guestbook until now. I wanted to address this person Renrag"s comments to you. This person or persons says they are really sorry for not supporting you when you were so hurt. My concern is why they feel like they can't be man or woman enough to reveal their identity that they feel like they have to do it under a disguise. I know the fine christian gentleman that you are that you will take an apology anyway that you can get it. I just feel like it shouldn't have to be a riddle for you. As christians we must take full responibility for the way we treat our brothers and sisters, As your song says "Judge Not " Keep on doing what the Father has called you to do. You are blessed with a great gift of ministring not only with your music but with your testimony as well. God Bless you Kirk.

This is more than amazing. People coming forward to apologize after years of kicking you while you were down. It just goes to show that God IS the forgiving Father he said he would be. I commend these who have asked for your forgiveness. It takes a lot for a person to swallow their pride and admit they were wrong. Believe me, I know! One thing I can say about Kirk, is that, he is a forgiving man! And not only does he forgive...I truly believe he tries to forget also. So thank you to Martha and Renrag. Martha, I pray that your son will find contentment and peace with who he is. God Bless!!

PLEASE accept my apology. I called you many different names, I ran and told lots of people that you had come out of the closet and was leaving your ministry. I even got up in my church and ran you down in front of the congregation, the same one you sang to. In my heart, I wanted you to never be successful in ministry or anything. Little did I know that in two years, I would be faced with a son who has now decided to tell us he is gay. The hurt and embarassment that I feel is horrible. I know now I was wrong to criticize you. My son says he identifies with your struggle and your pain. He too was raised in church and very involved in ministries. And of course now he has been kicked out of the church. Again, please accept my apology. I am praying for you now instead of running you down.

Hi Kirk, This is the first time I have visited your website and WOW! I was so touched by your courage and honesty. I am so sorry for all of the trials you have had to go through, but I know that the Lord will turn the negative into positive. To think of the people you can help through pain who have struggled with similar issues. You are one of my favorite Homecoming artists. Another Homecoming artist I love dearly I saw with his quartet three times in January and twice singing by himself in March. It was a touch of heaven to talk to him at each concert and to hug him and tell him I love him. Very few Southern Gospel artists come to Southern California or to the West Coast. I would love to be able to see you in concert sometime and give you a hug, too. I so appreciated your write up of Anthony's Nashville funeral. Keep seeking Him, clinging to Him--and know that we are supporting you and love you. Life isn't easy, but may His Will be done. Christ shines in you! HUGS--Kathy Dauz

I have a precious friend that is terminally ill and at this time is asking God just to take her home. This morning about 3am I awoke with the words of your beautiful song "Serenaded by Angels" in my head. I loved the song when it first came out but it has been a long time since I heard it. At this time I am looking for a tape or CD so I can take to her family. The thought of your song brought peace and comfort to my hurting heart. I'm on my way to Lifeway now to look for it. Thank you for the song

As a broken, heart-sick woman, I pressed through a thronging crowd at Myrtle Beach's Singing in the Sun this April to shake your hand and say as I looked earnestly in your eyes, "Just keep doing what you're doing." It doesn't matter if you remember me or even if you hear my story because there are so many stories to hear. The common thread between your story and mine is the love and grace of God through his Son, Jesus. You were there that Saturday morning to uplift and encourage me; I know that as surely as I know God's love and forgiveness knows no boundary. You've blessed my life for many years and continue to do so! You are my brother in Christ, and, "I thank my God upon each remembrance of you!" I pray for you, and ask God to bless you as you have blessed me through your honesty. What do you most want the world to know about you? I'll bet it's that you love the Lord with all your heart and with all your being. Your message IS being received! Love in Christ, Carol
