I have seen you several times in concert throughout the years and have always loved your music, your sense of humor and your love of God. Never have I been more proud of you than after reading your testimonial. I saw you Sunday night, Jan. 28,2007 in Hickory, NC and until then did not know of the struggles you have endured throughout your life. We all are born with a sinful nature, but it's what we choose to do with that sin that makes the difference. My prayers are with you. God Bless you in your ministry and in your personal life.

I have listened to you for years and I remember when all of this stuff was in the news. I did not keep up with it so I decided to check you out again and see what happened. As I read your testimony I could not help but cry because I fight the same thing everyday! I have since i was ten or so( I know that sound crazy). A few months ago I decided to just come out to my family and be "gay" but they asked me to give it a year and see if I still feel the same way, they all prayed for me and loved me the same. Several things have happend since then that let me know God loves me and that He will help me so I am living for him the best that I can and not dating(male or female). I have decided it would be better to die alone than to die lost. Since I decided this my family has not said a word about it and when I say anything about it they act strange. I guess Im asking for help I need it and want it. Is there any way you can give me some names numbers or websites? Anything would be great. GOD BLESS!

I have just read your testimony and wish to congratulate you on placing your faith on the only source of true grace and forgiveness. When we condemn others as you were condemned by so many we forget Christ's example. He said that we would be known by our love one for another. As you follow Christ he is able to bring you peace even in the midst of the storm. I thank you for your witness, it is needed in this world.

I have listened to you for years, but I saw you last night (1/26/07) for the first time. I talked with you a short while (tall lady) and found you to be quite genuine. I just read your testimony and could not help but cry. My thoughts went to a message my minister preached "That which is horrible can be honorable." Forget what man says or thinks, because all that matters is what God knows! You are in my prayers and I hope you will continue to use your unique voice in the work of the Lord. God bless.

Kirk, What an awesome testimony. I think most churches today should have you come in and give this testimony. Most pastors can't offer hope to people with this problem, they just preach against it and condemn people to hell. Thank you for sharing this story. There is hope for the hopeless through Christ Jesus, and you have shred that in a special way. I will forever respect you for being the "called" servant you are. I want to leave you with this, Trials become triumphs, when God takes a test and turns it into a testimony. Love you brother.

Kirk, I heard for the first time your song "if he Hung the Moon" about three weeks ago, I can't quit playing it! It has blessed my heart over and over again. It has helped me to know afresh that God loves me and cares. I am a former minister, who made some mistakes and sinned, am finding my way back to God. Thank you for the song!

Kirk: Thanks for your testimony! We saw you at our Freedom Fest in Plymouth, Mi in 2003. We so enjoyed your concert and were saddened to hear of your struggle soon after. As long-time fans, we were at first very angry but in recent months we have gained much compassion and respect for you. Our Sunday School class has been studying the restoration of relationships and how to forgive in all circumstances. We saw you on "Life Today" with James Robison and will be sharing a video clip of this segment with our Sunday School class tomorrow. Thanks for being willing to share your struggle in such a public manner. You have our support and prayers!

Kirk: We think of you so often and are keeping you in our prayers. Our son and family along with my husband and I were at a concert in Abilene, TX last Fri evening and our son talked to Roger asking about you. We found out at that time about your back surgery and were so very thankful to hear that you were doing well. We recently moved from IL to TX and hope to hear that you will be coming to this area some day soon so we can hear you again. Our family loves you Kirk and we thank God for keeping His hand upon you in your ministry. Hugs and Prayers, Your San Angelo Krew Members

I have for years listen to your music, and the song serenaded by angles was one of my mothers favorite. She passed away 10 years ago. I just wanted to thank you for all the great music you put out. Also, when will you tour again with the Bill Gather family band, or do you ever come to Arkansas? Thanks for the wonderful job Jo ANn Maxwell

I have a wonderful Christian friend who struggles with same sex attraction as you do. She was also at the end of her emotional rope. Somehow she came across your web site and testimony and your openess and honesty encouraged her enough to hang on. Through the influence of your testimony, she is in a good place in her relationship with Christ. Because of this, her self-view is becoming more positive as well. I live in Colorado Springs, and we have a well-know pastor here who has been in the national headlines as well. He is in the process of healing and restoration right now. I pray that God will use him mightily as he has used you, to speak to the multiude of others who have the same struggles. God bless you and may you stay encouraged.

My precious Mother went to be the Lord on January 5,2007, and I know she was 'Serenaded By Angels' and she was finally AT HOME. You may have written that song for someone else's Mother but it is and was a perfect song for my Mother. That was the only song my sisters and I had played during her service. She had Alzheimers Disease and 2 1/2 years ago she had a stroke that had paralyzed her left side and with both her speach was much affected. She was an ANGEL herself and was much loved by her family and a multitude of friends. She was a Christian and truly lived her faith. Her passing was so easy so I know at 5:30 on Friday evening when her breathing was quieted that in that instant she was Thanking and singing Praising to our Awesome God for finally taking her Home. Thank you, Kirk, for writting that song for our Mother; even though you did not know it at the time. (or maybe you did know ! ! )

WOW||| What a powerful testimony. I hadn't seen you lately on any of the Gaither broadcasts so I went looking for you on the web. This is the first time I heard about your struggle. After I read your testimony I prayed and thanked the Lord for working in your life and asked Him to bless you in a new and special way today. I had the privilege of meeting you, your sister-in-law and brother some years ago with Dr. Stanley on the Alaskan cruise . You and Debra were selling jewelry of which I bought a few pieces and they look as good today as they did then. I was impressed with your authentiness. You have a unique way of making people feel like they've known your for years and I really enjoyed that along with your friendliness. I was saddened to hear about how other 'so called ' Christians have reacted to your honesty. They need to get honest and look into their hearts and see what sin or sins they have hidden or unconfessed and then realize that we're all just SINNERS SAVED BY GRACE . Praise GOD that He loves us and when we confess our sin He is faithful and just and FORGIVES us. ALL OF US. Not just a chosen few. In closing, keep growing in your relationship with the Lord and continue being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I will be praying for you and looking forward to seeing you again. If not in this life then in our final heavenly home with our Lord and Saviour. Oh what a Day that will be.

Kirk, I appreciate you and thank you for your testimony. I recently wrote you a private email and I think the Lord let me find your website for a reason. I am battling the same struggles that you mentioned and it is hard when you do not have anyone to talk to. I am leaning on Jesus to get me through this and one day when we get to Heaven we will not have these things to battle. I cannot wait to leave this old earth and get to Heaven, can you just imagine, no more pain, death, sickness, addictions, My God I feel I can shout all the way to Heavens shoreline and shout the streets of glory. Kirk just keep on the firing line until you draw your last breath, that is what I intend to do. Satan in the end will be the loser when he is cast into the lake of fire forever. love you and praying for you.

Our church has been praying for you for some time now. We love you. God's grace is sufficient to weather the storms the so-called church may bring against us. My partner and I slip one of your CD's in when we're heading to the mountains. The Lord moves us to tears in hearing those awe inspired lyrics. This new year, I'm enjoying " A Year in the Now " which you signed recently when my mom was present in one of your concerts back in Tenn I believe. We know the Lord is far from over using those who proclaim His name for His glory. Until He returns, may the life God has given you in ministry not be distracted by anybody who would like to see it end. In Christ, Todd

Kirk, I spoke with Dot this morning, I have been having trouble getting your emails. She told me you were having back surgery today, I have prayed for you that surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery. I love to hear you to sing. I think you are the best singer, songwriter and preacher in gospel music. You cannot sing or write when you are in pain, but I know our Lord is able to take care of you and will. Just send me an email and keep me posted. Take care of yourself and rest. Dorma

I've heard you on several programs and this time I had to track you down (Dean and Mary) to identify that beautiful voice. I love your songs and your sincerity. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Thanks for the treat and the moments of intimacy. I had trouble trying to buy a cd but I will try again at another time from another source. God Bless.
