KIRK, I READ YOUR TESTIMONY FOR THE FIRST TIME. I SO GLAD YOU ARE HEALING. I HAVE LISTENED TO YOUR MUSIC FOR MANY YEARS. ESPECIALLY THOSE YEARS WITH THE CATHEDRALS. WHAT A POWERFUL VOICE. I HAVE BEEN PASTORING FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND IT BOTHERED ME TO READ THAT YOU ARE NOT A PART OF THE SOUTHERN GOSPEL CONCERT CIRCUIT. WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE TO FORGIVE AND FORGET, JUST LIKE OUR SAVIOR HAS DONE FOR US. YOUR CAN COUNT ON ME TO BE A PRAYER WARRIOR FOR YOU. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR MINISTRY.

Kirk, Thank you for coming to Kinston 1st PH Church yesterday and sharing your testimony and song. Both services were outstanding. Thanks you for showing us that with God's help there is nothing we cannot do. My prayers are with you as you continue to serve the Lord. Hang in there and don't give up!

Thank you for sharing your music at my church in Kinston yesterday. Everyone is still talking about it. I have never experienced anything like what happened yesterday. The invitation was incredible in both services. I was amazed that people just started going to the altar to pray without someone asking them to. You are annointed and I am proud to have seen you in person. I couldn't believe the Sunday Night crowd! We haven't seen a crowd like that on Sunday night in years! I sure hope Pastor will invite you back soon .

I was anxious to see how you would be accepted in Conyers Ga, in the heart of SOUTHERN BAPT TERRITORY. I was curious to see how the audience would accept you vs the other artists on the program. I was happy to see that you were the only artist that got THREE-YES THREE standing ovations compared with the other artists ONE. You are an awesome communicator, and your message was perfectly timed for some attendees. Good things are coming for you! I hope you are ready!

I attend the First Pentecostal Church in Kinston and enjoyed Kirk's concert and testimony very much on Sunday, January 29th. I admire him for sharing his struggles (as difficult as it must have been) so that others who are struggling can know that there is always Hope when you put your trust in the Lord no matter what the battle is. GOD BLESS YOU!

kirk, I and I know the 1st Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kinston NC was, was blessed by your music and testimony in the morning and evening service. God has given you a wonderful gift of singing and songwriting. The Army of our Lord Jesus is the only Army that shoots its wounded. This one issue of non forgiviness and/or judging has driven untold hundreds of thousands of unbelivers into the arms of Isalm and New Age Worship. This issue could be a wake-up call for the church. The Church is suppose to be a place of healing regardless of race/gender, sin or situation. A place where the Spirit and soul is healed and restored back to God thru Christ. I was uaware of your situation until today. I am sorry that this situation has happened in your life. What Satan intended for evil The Lord can make good to come out of it. God Bless you Kirk and we will be praying for you.

recently heard your performance and testimony in Kinston, NC. It really touched me and has made me really evaluate my life. I know exactly what you must be going through. Thank you for having the strength to continue God's work. We all have our "thorn in our side" and thanks to you many others can come to the realization that we all face problems in our life. Our job is to love and to be loved and to be the best Christian we can be no matter who judges or criticizes. God knows our heart. God bless you in all your endeavors and thank you again for coming to our small little town to wisen it up a little bit

I had the pleasure of seeing Kirk at a concert in metro Atlanta, GA last weekend. This man of God is annointed and has a true heart for God. I hope and pray that we as Christians, regardless of our beliefs, will let the past be the past. While I personally feel that one's sexuality is God-given, I respect those who believe otherwise. However, as Christians if we can't forgive one another (whether it is warranted or not), then we are the ones missing out on blessings from above.

I've wanted to contact you for some time, but I wanted to be in the right frame of mind, spiritually. I've struggled with same-sex attraction for as long as I can remember. I was raised in a Free Will Baptist pastor's home and I've been involved in music all of my life. I finally "came out" about this time last year and have spent the better part of the year trying to justify my feelings. About three weeks ago, I finally gave in to the drawing of the Holy Spirit to give EVERYTHING to God, especially this struggle. I had created quite a network of gay friends, even volunteered at a Gay and Lesbian center here in Detroit, but those friendships and efforts turned out to be superficial. God has truly laid it upon my heart to serve Him through serving others. I have no idea what he has in store for me, but I know it's big. I left my family ministry at my dad's church. I'm not sure if I'll ever be involved in it again. However, God has blessed me with a talent for a reason. I also believe that "the longer I serve Him the sweeter He grows". He's seen me through a lot and He has become my best friend. I thank you for your courage and for your testimony. God bless you.

Hello Kirk..first of all I love all your music but my favorite has to be "Serenaded by Angels" I know that it is kind of old, but right before my grandmother passed away in '96 she said weeks before that she was seeing angels all around her bed. Then without knowing this the lady that sang at her funeral sang this song..God works in mysterious but gracious ways doesnt he? God Bless you and keep up the good work of spreading God's word. The tempter is out to get us any way he can, he doesn't care how he does it, as long as he seperates us from God, that's enough. Hang in there Kirk, and it doesn't matter if you never sing on a stage again, the glory was for God anyhow right? Sing to Him! anytime you feel like it, He is worthy of your praise and mine and all peoples, we've all sinned, it's what you do after you've sinned that matters. Keep doing what you're doin', askin for forgiviness when you fall and thankin him for the victory when you don't! Thanks for putting your testimony on the web, I really wanted to know how you were doin!

I was anxious to hear how "Judge Not" would sound on the CD, since I heard you sing it in Henderson, TX last year. It's just as beautiful, poignant, and soul-touching on the CD as it was when you sang it a capella, standing less than 10 ft. in front of me. Congratulations on this new CD, and for including some wonderful songs that aren't sung very much anymore - - and should be. God continues to bless your ministry. And as a friend tells my nephew - - God loves you and so do I (and I'm almost 63, so I can say that). Keep singing, and keep blessing. A KIRK'S KREW member in Austin, TX

One of things I've always liked about you is your ability to write a song. And Judge Not, though it is a simple lyric, it holds a powerful message. My favorite part in that song is the chorus...'Judge not, lest ye be judged. Forgive not, if you'll never need forgiveness. Don't criticize what you don't understand...' Forgiving is probably one of the hardest things that Christians are admonished to do, yet it's so simple. It's letting go, and letting God deal with it. Too many times we are quick to judge and quick to criticize things that we really don't understand. I feel sorry for those people who were so quick to judge you. But I know that God will deal with them. Thank you for this song! God is using you in powerful ways! And I encourage you to keep on! God Bless!---Shaelee

Hi Kirk I don't consider myself a "fan" of any Christian entertainer but I do enjoy music and have more CD's than I'll ever be able to listen to more than once. That said, let me simply say that your newest recording "Hymns of Hope" has immediately become one I will listen to over and over. Your choice of hymns, the simplicity of the vocals and instruments make listening to this CD a worship experience. A friend, Larry Pryce

I first heard of you when you were in the Cathedrals, then my husband and I saw you at Dollywood. I am so glad that you are making a comeback because I think your brand of song writing has been long lost. I'm disappointed in the Southern Gospel Industry for ostracizing you, but aren't you glad Jesus didn't? I have prayed for you and will continue to pray for you that as God uses you in this special way, you will get a special blessing from God and that someday you will realize the desires are finally gone. Thank God you are back, Kirk. We love you and care about you. In Him, Dr. and Mrs. Keith Riffle

As the man and little boy walked along the seashore, the little boy reached down and started throwing the washed up shellfish back into the water. The man told the little boy that it mattered not how many he threw back, because there were thousands along the seashore. As the little boy reached down to throw another shellfish into the water, he said "IT MATTERS TO THIS ONE." Kirk, I think your story in life has so much meaning & power. So many times in life when we're washed up, people come along and leave up laying in our sorrow, instead of reaching down and helping us back into the "Living Water." My hat goes off to the people in this world who have taken the time to reach down for others. Look at what we'd miss out on, if there weren't those who help others along the way. You have a God given talent and Satan wants to destroy it any way he can. Thanks for continuing on and showing us all that God is greater than any other power upon this earth. Your voice, your words are beautiful. And you never know when the next sentence you sing, or the next word you speak, just might help someone back into the water of life. Thanks for holding on!

Kirk, I am so glad to see you are back. A 83 year old friend introducted your music to me a few years ago and we went to one of your concerts at the LIghthouse in Garner, NC. I FIRST WANT TO SAY THANKYOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL MUSIC..IT IS USCH A BLESSING IN MY LIFE. I PRAISE THE LORD FOR ALLOWING YOU TO COME FORWARD WITH YOUR BATTLE(MANY MORE FACE THE SAME THING) AND KNOW THAT YOUR STRUGLE IS DAILY. MY ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS THAT THE CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE I HAVE ALWAYS GOT MY MUSIC FROM NO LONGER CARRIES YOUR MUSIC AND I TOLD THEM,OF COURSE, INB A CHRISTIAN FASHION THAT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEM FOR MAKING SUCH JUDGMENTS. THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT JUDING AND I POINTED TO ANY EMPTY PLACE WHERE YOUR MUSIC USED TO BE. END OF SUBJECT. SO NOW I HAVE TO TRAVEL MILES AND MILES TO FIND YOUR SONGS, BUT THAT TO IS OKAY, BECAUSE WHAT IS WORTH LOOKING FOR AND WAITING FOR IS WORTH TAKING THE TIME. TO MY CHRISTIAN BROTHER, I LOVE YOU.
