Hey,
Had a good time on the road the last two weekends. NC and VA was a good weekend, had a really great service in Martinsville VA. Several people came forward at the end of the service during the invitation time. From Martinsville VA, down to Greensboro NC for another really good service at True Vine Community Church. It was great to see Dr Adrian Harris again. "Sarah", (Palin) aka known as Sybil did a great job of putting this evening together. We had a lot of fun with the look-alike aspect of the two. Look at her pics on the website! My friend Myra played a big part of making it happen too...Thank You Myra.

This week, I have been working at Belks a couple of days. Please pray for a friend of mine there who has cancer of the Esophagus. He has lost 30 pounds in the last month, and is going through radiation and chemotherapy.

This week I was able to acquire some closeouts on some of my older projects. I made three trips back and forth to the office with a truck load of CD's, Cassettes, and Videos......so......you guessed it......It's Clearance time!!!!!!!

I had a good time in Kentucky this past weekend.
"Swallowfield Days" was a fun day. Swallowfield is a tiny little place north of Frankfort. Two churches, some neighbors, and a churchyard filled with some precious people who came out to enjoy the beautiful afternoon filled with music, hay rides, arts and crafts, prizes ( I didn't win AGAIN) face painting contests, some games, and a skunk in the road that someone you know hit! Kenny Bishop and I sang for this crowd of folks and had a really enjoyable day! If you haven't heard Kenny's latest CD, you need to get it. There are some great songs on it....and it was nominated for a Grammy! That's right....a Grammy! It didn't win but just the nomination is impressive...Of course...nothing less for a very talented guy.

I went from Swallowfield to Campbellsville for a Sunday Morning service at the Church of God, and then to Artemus for an evening concert at the Christian Church. Both services were great...Sunday morning, several people came to the altar to pray at the end of the service. Sunday nights service was really a lot of fun. I had been warned that there was a lady in this church who didn't like whistling. Actually she has said many times that if you whistle in church, you'll go to hell. I noticed when I started whistling "Just a closer walk with thee", a lot of people in the church looked in the direction where I had been told she would be sitting. After the song ended, I dedicated it to her. The church erupted with laughter. The pastor was rolling with laughter...Bobbie was a good sport and it was a lot of fun. But I noticed that she left without purchasing the whistling cd!


Thank you guys and gals for responding so great to the Alzheimers Associations Fundraiser. Sarah and Myah will be walking in honor of my mom and we are trying to raise money for the further research of this awful disease. I hope Myah wins so she can sing ( you have to hear it!) in honor of my mom. This past weekend, they hosted a yard sale to raise funds and Myah was the hit of the yard sale. If you haven't sent your contribution, please do so. Make checks payable to the Alzheimers Association, and send it to my address, PO BOX 6568, Knoxville TN 37914 and I will add it to the pot and hopefully Myah will be the top fundraiser and will be the mascot for the following year.
